【簡介】The Honeydrippers

1981 年 Led Zeppelin 前主唱 Robert Plant 組了名為 The Honeydrippers 的樂團，一圓長期想將搖滾結合節奏藍調的夢想。樂團後來參與的成員包括前齊柏林飛船吉他手 Jimmy Page、前 The Yardbirds 吉他手 Jeff Beck（Jimmy Page 也是）與其他知名錄音室音樂人。

1981 年 Honeydrippers 在英國基爾大學舉行過一場演唱會，1984 年 11 月發行 EP 名為 The Honeydrippers: Volume One，A2 翻唱 Phil Phillips 的 Sea of Love，獲得美國告示排行單曲第三名；B2 歌曲 Rockin' at Midnight 也有第 30 名的成績。

同年十二月他們在 Saturday Night Live 演唱 Rockin' at Midnight 和 Santa Claus is Back in Town，Brian Setzer 參與吉他，Paul Shaffer 彈奏鋼琴。Plant 說新專輯即將錄製，但一直沒有，The Honeydrippers: Volume One 成為絕響。
